Earthquake in Pakistan:
On Midnight Of 22 March 2023 :Officials reported that a magnitude 6.5 earthquake hit Pakistan and Afghanistan on Tuesday evening, resulting in at least 10 deaths in Pakistan and four in Afghanistan.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority for Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province confirmed the deaths of 10 individuals and injuries to 62 others.
Rescue efforts were underway, and those who fell unconscious due to shock and fear were taken to nearby hospitals.
The earthquake's epicenter was 40 km south-southeast of Afghanistan's Jurm district, located in the Hindukush region bordering Pakistan and Tajikistan.
The earthquake occurred 188 km below the Earth's surface, making it felt over a vast area.
In Afghanistan, Sharafat Zaman Amar, a Taliban-appointed spokesperson for the Public Health Ministry, reported that four individuals had been killed, and 70 were injured.
Last year, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake in eastern Afghanistan claimed over 1,000 lives, and in 2005, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake in northern Pakistan caused the death of at least 73,000 individuals.
